C.A.N.C.E.R.

CANCER!
It is a bad word!
I know that I will probably die one day of this dreaded decease!
I hate it!
It is EVERYWHERE!
It ruins all that is good!

People do not die of old age anymore!
"I" want to die of OLD AGE, not cancer!

So in my quest for a healthy old age,
because I am on the down hill side of 50,
and I want to be able to ride my horse even if I am old...!
Cause I love her!
I began selling
ARBONNE!

PURE ~  SAFE ~ BENEFICIAL
Because most everything we use today has cancer causing agents in it!

But I got to reading some of the ingredients on the labels.
It is better than most of your products out there, but is it really SAFE?
I don't know!
Is anything safe?
I don't know!

Look up some of the products you use here:

Think about all those lotions you slather on your arms and legs.
Even your shampoo and makeup.
(ummm, I have a cabinet full!)

Our skin is the biggest organ on our body.
Anything you put on it does get absorbed.

Another fact I found out:
Did you know a PEACH back in the 50's, 60's, even the 70's,
had more and better nutrients than today?
They even tasted better~

Today it takes 23 peaches to equal the
benefits of ONE of today's peaches!

WHY?
Because most of your fruit is picked GREEN!
They can last longer this way, and be shipped around the world.
Do you notice that unless you have a fruit tree in your own yard,
the fruit you get in the supermarket is very bland?

I went to a meeting.
It was about
Instead of going into all that is good about it,
(because I do think it will help.)

I will provide some links below for you to read about this product...

I am NOT selling it!
I hold no stock in the company.

I am doing a personal trial.
Even have hubby using it.
I feel that I need all the help I can get!
They make claims of a lot of good things this little blue bottle will do.

And you only drink ONE ounce a day.
Because your body can only absorb so much, it is a waste to drink more.
Here are a few links for you to check out:

It tastes like a concentrated form of grape wine without the fizz.
Not to bad.

To give it a fair trial I will use it everyday for three months.
It takes that long for your body to rejuvenate its cells.

If you want to try it out for yourself I will provide a link where you can order some.
To get the BEST deal though,
you would need to choose autoship.
You CAN cancel it at any time.
Also it is risk free,
if for any reason you want a refund,
SAVE YOUR BOTTLE(s)
and they will refund your money.

You can jump on the band wagon now,
Or wait to see what I report.....
I will post an update.

I am not one to take vitamins, or pills.
I just hate it!
My vitamins are childrens chewables! LOL
So maybe this is my ticket to help my body
get the needed nutrients.

We will see!

To Shoe or not to shoe!

This is the question of the century, if you own a horse!
I approached this question tonight at my USR meeting.
(Umatilla Sage Riders)
I thought maybe we could get a farrier to put on a simple
seminar to instruction the unknowing,
like myself,
to be able to do necessary things when needed.
Like maybe file down my horses hoofs on a more routine schedule.
It would be like a pedicure,
keep the feet uniform.
But I found out that many horse owners do not know how to do this.

It seems that lately I have been running across websites that state
an owner should know how to do these things.

I know how to clip my dogs nails, and keep the cats nails trimmed.
I feel the need I should know how to do my own horse!

I was at a total loss this past winter when mother nature dumped a load of snow on us unexpectedly,
and I found Libby was walking on 6" stilettos of ice.
I tried to pick them out.
ROCK SOLID!
I was going to grease the bottoms but I could not get the snow and ice build up out.
Boy did I feel helpless.

Called a lot of farriers but they were all pretty busy because I am sure there
are many people out there that are like me.
(My farrier could not get to my house due to very bad road conditions.)

I was hoping to get in a few more days of riding before winter set in,
but it was not to be.
(Hense leaving her shoes on)

So...I guess...my decision is:
NOT TO SHOE!

I will leave it up to my farrier....

Because:
Libby loves him!

And, she instructed me to
Leave her feet alone!

And..He is very good at what he does!

Parker's first ride:

Kids!
Just love'em!
They surprise you at every turn.
This is how Parker's First ride went down...

Mom, Dad, and Parker show up.
First he has to ride his dad's motorcycle,
But...
Since they just rode out to the house,
His dad told him:
"Motorcycle, burnin hot."
All the way in the house Parker repeated this....
But after a while and he insisted on
"Wriding Wibby"
we go out side.
Gotta get that bike ride in first...
Then is off to wride wibby!
 Parker on a mission!
But when we get to the pasture, nana gets Poncho.
Umm...not to sure but Parker goes with it, and we head out.
a few steps into the ride, Parkers says:
"No wride Poncho! Wride Wibby!"
He just turns to papa and bales off!
Ok, good thing Papa is a good catch!
So off on Libby we go!

 Happy little boy!

Papa grumbled something about a waste of a few hundred dollars on "Elmer".

 There was still hope!
8 Year old grandson shows up....
He LOVES Poncho!

I do see it all though...
Nana is going to be riding the "Tramp!"
and the kids will ride the "Lady!"

Lester/Cisco/Harley/Elmer....OR.......

In the debate over what Lester-Cisco-Harley-Elmer should be named,
It was all by accident...
Parker showed up with his mom,
His eyes got big and wide when Papa and I showed him "HIS"
horse we just brought home.

Mom, said he says, "Harley" really cute.
He did,
So as I was showing Parker and he was petting this new guy,
Another name came to mind:
"Poncho"
So for awhile, Parker kept saying:
"Harley-Poncho" or "Poncho-Harley"
when asked what his horses name was.

ummm.....
How to get through to a 20 month old..
I KNOW!
Show him a picture!
So I pulled a photo of this new horse up on my computer,
and I pointed at it, and asked Parker:
"What is the horses name?"

"PONCHO!"

So Poncho it is! LOL

Facebook......

Facebook has me hooked!
(I admit it: I am addicted!)
I can't live without it!
It lets me stay in contact with my kids, family, friends,
and lets me find new friends and old friends.

NOW WHAT AM I TO DO:

"WARNING! Facebook will be closed for maintenance from February 29 to 31!
