Kids!

What would we do with out our wonderful kids!?
Every once in a blue moon they surprise me with a photo.
This year it is with ALL the kids!
(this took a great deal of planning!)
What an enormous task!

I LOVE IT!
(once again I got blubbery)

My Three Sons!
Phillip, Cameron and Robert
Phillip and his family, whom by the way ARE expecting in the new year.

Cameron and his family.

Our Grandchildren!
The best part of having kids.

And then these candid photos,
I just adore!
I don't know, maybe they were talking about
Robert getting a family?
Or that his family is his Motorcycle and racing?
I don't know, and it doesn't matter.
I love each and every single one of my kids and
that includes their wives,
because their wife
makes them complete.
This is the best Christmas gift
a parent can ever have!

Dang Apps!

Here is our dear sweet grandson: PARKER

Here is Parker on and I PHONE APP!
It was quite hilarious as the son took pictures of
all of us and used some app he had on his phone
to make us all look big.
Parker is the only one that I felt I could share
because no matter what,
He is always a cutie!

Parcel Post VS Priority Mail

I went to the Post Office today to mail some packages.
Today was a day that the post master was quite talkative.
He was explaining to me that CHEAPER is not always the best.

IF you send a package PARCEL POST
and at its destination
the recipient has MOVED
even if it is just across the street,
THEY will have to PAY
the postage YOU Paid on the package to have it delivered to them!
If the mailman can not find the address and your package has to be
sent back to you,
YOU have to PAY AGAIN for the postage to get it.

Now isn't this STUPID!~?

If you send your package
PRIORITY MAIL
none of this happens.

So for the few extra cents it costs to send your package
Priority Mail,
do so.
It will save you in the long run if anything happens.

A Wild Ride!

I just finished reading Kathleen's blog about her wild ride, and needed to share.
WHAT AN ADVENTURE!
(I read from the beginning, when she left OREGON!)

She still would like to be home for Christmas, so if anyone can help,

let her know!

115th Reason I LOVE LIBBY!

I have been so busy that the days are flying by!
I got a new job and that takes up a lot of my time
since I am now, FULL TIME employed!
Paychecks are nice, but not much 'play' time.
That may change come spring time!

Yesterday I had the grandkids.
Briann is a little cowgirl!
The only reason she comes to Nana's house is to "RIDE LIBBY!"
The only reason I get a "hug" is
 to 'Ride Libby'.
So Nana being the ole softy
(and needing more hugs),
and Libby wanting some much needed attention
I decided to make a little girl happy!
(I remember what it was like to want to ride a horse.)
(Well, actually I still 'want to ride')

And a little "cowboy" too!
We were babysitting Parker, and when he
understood that Briann was going to ride Libby,
He HAD to ride also!
Here they are waiting for Nana to bring Libby in.

I just love this picture of Libby and Briann.
And Libby even looks clean! LOL
Once around the pasture and it was NOT ENOUGH!
She would not get off, and insisted upon riding more!
But she had to get off and let Parker ride.
(It was cold! and 'dad' was freezing!)

My eldest, Phillip, Briann's daddy, was the guard to make sure
children were safe.
Need not of worried because Libby was an angel.
(But always! Just in case!)

Number 115th reason, I LOVE MY HORSE!

What was so special about today?

When I got up this morning and saw the sun
coming through the trees into the fog,
I knew it was going to be a special day.

Why so special you ask?

Because PARKER got to ride Libby today.
And when we trotted,
he giggled a lot!
(It looks like we are going hell bent for election,
but actually we were doing a slow trot!)
Then it was Briann's turn,
and she kept saying:
"run," "run,"
her version of 'trot'.
So we did,
and she giggled all the way!
(Libby trots ever so gently with the kids and me on her.)
Parker does not normally wear pink,
but my helmet was way to big,
and since Briann had her BIKE helmet with her
they wore that.
(I KNOW, bike helmets are not proper gear! But it fit and better than no protection!)
The kids had so much fun!
And SO DID I!
Here is Briann and her mom patiently waiting her turn.
Parker and his mommy.
Then the unexpected happened!
My youngest Son Cameron, wanted to ride.
So here I am giving direction as to what to do
because she is so light on her cues, I
wanted him to totally understand that.
AND Because of his foot wear,
He was not allowed to use the stirrups either.
So he was 'horsin' around and Libby was being such a sweetheart.

And here is Father and Son!
Riding "MY" horse!
Yes, I knew today was going to be special!
Because LIBBY has made it so!

R U Ready for Halloween?

Libby Is!

Looked at dad for help!
He told her he was "sorry"!
Is she thinking "&itch"?

"If I would of known,
I wouldn't of cantered up to see what "mom" was doing!"
"Umm....does not hamper my favorite past time."

Lilly was not to happy with Libby!
You think it is her costume?
Libby loved the attention.
Suppose to get a storm front move in,
so if there is rain, she will be all white again.
Or maybe marbled...
Ummmmm......
