Crazy Horse Ranch

I have been to this Crazy Horse Ranch.
The horse rides are just awesome!
I can guarantee, if you are ever in
her neighborhood,
and you want to take a moment out
for a horse ride,
This is the place to go.

What I like is she does not just toss you on a horse and say "Let's go!"
(Believe me! Been there! Done that!)
She will teach you some basics of riding,
and show you some basics of handling your horse.

So not only is it a fun experience, you will also walk away
learning something new.

She has a website if you want to learn more:

Crazy Horse Ranch

Feel free to share this with all your friends.
Horse riding in California is
truly riding the old west!

Far be it from me to get a RUMOR Started.........

But....
I hear that our small town is getting a FudRuckers!
I hear it is a hamburger joint, and it is going somewhere
over by Home Depot.

Also:
Rumor is:
there is going to be a Titty bar!
Imagine that!
Not only does Umatilla have TWO
but now Hermiston is getting one.
Really now.......
Also it has been rumored that this same building in question, is going to be a HARLEY SHOP!
Now That we could use! LOL
This would be somewhere in the neighborhood of Bi-Mart,
if anyone has noticed a new building being remodeled.
Maybe it is going to be Harley Titty Shop?
LOL

Gee Maybe we should look into opening up a
Chippendales Equine Tack Store!

Whirlpool Cabrio REVIEW!

I like to test products.
I like to give reviews on them too.

So I will do just that.

A year ago my washing machine died. The transmission just could no longer hold out.
So we went machine shopping.
I had my heart set on the front end loading machines,
(its ok when it is at a laundromat if they leak!)
but was not to fond of the idea that you loaded it from the front.
I just did not want the agitator.

I came across the Whirlpool Cabrio at Sears.
A horrible nice young man was hanging up "SALE" signs
I asked him if he happened to have one for this Cabrio I was standing in front of.
He said "Nope" and walked off letting me stand there.

Now that WAS Customer SERVICE!
We left! Probably will not ever buy anything from Sears again.

So we went to Lowes.
I don't like shopping there.
WHY?
Because I can walk in that store with my purchase in mind,
and as soon as I walk through those doors,
I am ALL CONFUSED!
Just to darn much stuff to choose from!

Anyway they were having a close out/Damaged goods sale!
WOW! We got there on a good day!

The washer I got had a ding in the front from a forklift.
It was discounted.
NO PROBLEM! I can live with that,
because these things ain't cheep!

I JUST LOVE THE CABRIO!
The first load I ran was towels!
Wow the colors were brighter!
The whites were whiter!
I was amazed!

PLUS's:
1. Holds up to 10 pair of adult jeans.
2. I can wash ALL my towels at once!
3. Gets my clothes CLEAN!
4. Uses less water, therefore saving on the water bill.
5. My whites are white again!
6. It almost spins dry my clothes, taking less drying time!
7. Use's less soap to wash a load of clothes.
8. Very quiet when in use.
9. NO TRANSMISSION!
10. You can watch your clothes being cleaned.
11. No AGITATOR to take up space.
12. New dryer not required! Since the clothes are practically dry,
the drying time is cut down no matter what dryer you own.
13. I can wash King size bedding with a breeze!
14. I can wash TWO sets of Queen Size sheets at once!
15. Automatic balancer. No more having to rearrange clothing! (well you do "IF" it is totally all on one side. I had to ONE time rearrange the clothes in the year I had it.
16. The glass lid is quieter than the metal lid according to the salesman.

MINUS's:
1. Does such a large load, more folding is required.
2. Only use (he) soap.
3. It beeps at me when done!
4. Yes the jean legs get mangled, but this is manageable.
5. Clothes are very wrinkled, BUT....if shaken a bit before putting in the dryer, they still come out wrinkle free.

Here is a photo I stole borrowed from a website
of the outside of my washer.
I have the white one with the clear lid.
This is the inside of it.
Another picture I borrowed from a website.

So there you have it.
On good authority.

Horse sharing. Really?

Sharing.
A Big word.
Means so much.

Yes sharing between horses is almost unheard of!
Isn't it?
Maybe my ladies are a new breed of horse?
As you watch this big little video,
I try to do a narration, but
My voice sounds so beautiful AWFUL!
(To think I wanted to be a reported when I grew up!)

Anyway, we had to fertilize the pasture, and needed to put the ladies
in our "L" shape.
Then fertilize the large part, and after a few days, we will move them,
and fertilize the "L" part.

So we moved their feed tubs to their new digs.
Hubby, moved the smaller of the two, and
by the time it got to its resting place, it was empty.
(He is such a good helper.)

That left ONE feed tub, WITH FOOD!
As you can see, Sissy does worm her way into Sadie's space.
Sadie allows this.
ONLY BECAUSE She THINKS Sissy is spraying her with water,
and I know that she made a one sided pack with Sissy
to quit spraying her if she was allowed to eat.

Didn't work.
As then SISSY gets wet!

Anyway, watch the video.
I hope you enjoy it.
Body Language in horses is so awesome!
(This is why I can't post everyday.
If there is a spare moment, it is spent with the ladies.)

Silly Equines! What were they thinking?!

It looks nice out side but it isn't!
The wind is blowing.
It is cold!
And work still needs to be done!

Rick dragging the pasture.
Needed to be done, as horse manure was belly high to a elf!

This is Tom on his 4-wheeler.
(Tom is Rick's huntin' partner and good friend)
He has a blade on his so he can push the crap around.

Rock moving time!
Our place is built on a hill of rocks.
So rocks emerge from the ground at any given time.

After moving the flat one that is on the right side of the drag,
There was a bunch of ants making their home.
Can't see them to well here, but in the bigger picture
I am sure we are standing on an ant hill.
It is only a matter of time before it will become a sink hole!

This is the "L" that runs in front of our house.
See my new tack room by the round pen?
AWESOME!
Our house is just to the top side right and behing the tack room.

The shop area. See our house to the left of the photo?

This area runs behind the shop, and over to the Lean toward the right.

Here is Sadie coming to check out what I am doing.

She spied the four wheelers in the pasture.

Whatcha' doin' mom?

Sissy checking to see if I have any treats.

Decided I didn't so she went her merry way.

"Hey lets see if Mom will feed us?"
"We will pretend like we are staving wafes and maybe she will take pity on us?"

Sadie got bored with the illusion.
Sissy on the other hand,
had to eat every morsel off the ground!

Sadie would rather spend time with mom.

If I look cute maybe I will get a goodie!

Oh MOM! That Peppermint did not taste so good!

Ahh,....Here is my boyfriend.......

Shhhh....Lets pretend we don't know each other!

Ok! You scratch my back, I will scratch yours.....

Uh Oh! We are caught!

Lets pretend we weren't doing anything!

I am looking behind the railing. I can't see Mom!

Oops there she is!

I will give you 10 minutes to quit that!

Ok. I can't see her!

In the mean time: Sissy: "What ya doin?"

Oh Good Grief!

Ok, I think I will do my camel impression
and
go eat trees....

Ummm...yum yum.
(This is the neighbors gelding.)

Sissy bored with all of it, went back to
doing her most favorite thing! LOL
