I played the video and it brought both my husband and dog (who were both in bed asleep) out to see where the noise was coming from! Star is absolutely adorable (sleepy husband concurs). You are making great headway with her.

I have a Cannon PowerShot and love it. It's a point and shoot but has (easy) options if you want to get fancy. Most of my pics on my blog are taken with it. Happy New Year! :)50+ Horseshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09205713626334967847noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4284019363271881618.post-24855828245448612352011-12-31T14:55:18.117-08:002011-12-31T14:55:18.117-08:00I have a Cannon PowerShot as well and I like it. ...I have a Cannon PowerShot as well and I like it. I carry the poor thing around in my pocket with me all day and haven't managed to kill it yet.

I am glad you are having so much fun with Star. Donkeys are the best! I have been doing some clicker training with Emma and she LOVES that. It keeps her busy, little mind working.

Happy New Year! The Dancing Donkeyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16274299120708749101noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4284019363271881618.post-9853126250864869892011-12-31T11:06:05.518-08:002011-12-31T11:06:05.518-08:00I'm so happy for you that you are enjoying you...I'm so happy for you that you are enjoying your donkey and Libby time every day. They sound like they bring you so much joy. Star's bray cracks me up. So loud and so funny! I would so love to have a couple of donkeys, but I know my neighbors would probably complain. Breaks my heart.

The video of Libby running and then sliding in surprise of the open gate was so funny! lol! What a fun adventure for both Libby and Star.

I bought my 8 yr old daughter a Vivitar point and shoot for Christmas. It's her first camera and quality isn't as important as something that she can practice her photo taking skills on. Sanyo is also a beginner-style camera and you are far from a beginner.

You know what camera I will recommend because it's the only brand I've been using now for over 4 years that has never let me down. A Canon PowerShot. Even when my first Canon PS was stolen, when asked what camera I'd like to replace it, I said another Canon PowerShot. You will not be disappointed. Hurry and get one!

~LisaLaughing Orca Ranchhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03562627840013868980noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4284019363271881618.post-12299354655243820062011-12-31T08:01:30.672-08:002011-12-31T08:01:30.672-08:00I even made a little case for this camera...never ...I even made a little case for this camera...never dropped it...took really good care of it. I am going along the lines of a Canon Power shot. I need a point and shoot camera because 99% of the time, I don't have my glasses on, and can't see what I am taking a picture of, so. I just POINT. And Shoot! HAHA...Sometimes I am lucky and sometimes not! :))mrscravitzhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06734008259700267954noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4284019363271881618.post-26162021249539342242011-12-31T07:45:15.611-08:002011-12-31T07:45:15.611-08:00Love your pictures. You spend a little more, but you get good pics and if you take reasonable care of it, it'll last a long time. It is small enough to fit in your pocket to be available and ready for any "Canon moment." ;)

I truly enjoy your blog. Thanks for all the great posts in 2011.

Happy New Year!

LoisLois Evensenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11129343619065721588noreply@blogger.com
